New Resources

I was just going through some other awesome technology and education related blogs tonight and I remembered that I haven’t posted anything to my blog in about 6 months. So here I go…. I’ve just been reviewing and updating a few my Schemes of Work and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to share my resources with the world and get some feedback on how to improve them.

I was going to post them on here but then I thought that I should probably use something with a slightly wider audience than my little blog (haha). The best place for this that I am aware of is the TES Resource Bank. I’ve used the Resource Bank on many occasions during my PGCE and NQT years as a fantastic area to find new resources. Now seems like a good time to start giving back to this great online community. I have just added 2 new resources-

OCR Nationals Unit 4 (Level 2) Website (2010 spec)- This link will take you to my OCR National Unit 4 website. This website includes all the necessary guidance, resources and assessment materials to complete this unit.

KS3 Web Design Unit (Theme- 5 a Day)- In the unit, students are provided with a brief to analyse the project requirements, they will then plan, create, refine and evaluate a website to promote the benefits of 5 a Day to 7-11 year old children. By the end of this unit, students should have a more astute awareness of search techniques / information quality, an improved SoAP (working towards presenting to unfamiliar audiences & purposes) and have further developed their evaluation skills, allowing them to develop and refine work further.

I hope to add some more resources over the coming weeks. Please have a look at my resources and give some feedback either on the TES website or below.

Thanks :-)
